January 6, 2023: Holly Ridge, NC 28445 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) and the host Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), saw Swansboro's basketball squad wallop Dixon by a tally of 55-31.
With the victory, Swansboro improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Richlands (Richlands, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Richlands won 35-31 in their recent non-league challenge against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Dixon will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 59-31 non-league loss to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC).
