The North Tahoe Lakers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Pershing County Mustangs to 19 in the Lakers league victory on Saturday.

The Lakers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Incline for a 2A Northern contest on Wednesday, January 11. North Tahoe will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 71-46 league win over Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Pershing County moves to 5-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV) to meet the Falcons in a 2A Northern match on Tuesday, January 10.
