In Friday's league outing, the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) basketball squad edged the visiting Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), by a count of 51-47.

The Lions (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV). The Falcons go into the 2A Northern outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Coral Academy of Science - Reno was tipped by Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV), 44-32, in a league outing.
