January 7, 2025: Homer, GA 30547 In Tuesday's league test, the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA), by a score of 59-43.
Next, the Leopards clash with the Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) in a A D1 Region 8 test, on Thursday, January 9. Banks County will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 12-3 record after their 63-26 league win over Commerce (Commerce, GA).
The Wildcats (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA). The Storm come into the A D1 Region 8 test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Providence Christian Academy went down by Wesleyan (Norcross, GA), 40-29, in a non-league test.
