The Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA) basketball crushed the host Covington Lions (Covington, LA), 61-21 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Skippers now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Loranger for a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. Mandeville will play a Wolves team coming off a 48-28 non-league win over Springfield (Springfield, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Covington falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Assumption (Napoleonville, LA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9.
