The North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) basketball crushed the host West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), 67-31 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wilkes Central for a 2A Foothills bout on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, West Wilkes falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Greyhounds in a 2A Foothills bout on Thursday, January 9. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 9-2. North Surry lost 59-56 in their recent league bout against Forbush (East Bend, NC)
