Ohio High School Basketball - South Gallia overwhelms Eastern
January 8, 2024: Beaver, OH 45613 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the South Gallia Rebels (Crown City, OH) and the host Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH), saw South Gallia's basketball squad wallop Eastern by a tally of 63-14.
With the victory, South Gallia improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host Western (Latham, OH) to confront the Indians in a Southern Ohio II challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. Western won 31-10 in their recent league challenge against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, OH)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH) in a Southern Ohio II challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Eastern will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 45-35 league win over Northwest (McDermott, OH).
