Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) and the visiting Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH), saw Northwest's basketball squad knock off Eastern by a tally of 40-32.

With the victory, Northwest improves its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to East (Sciotoville, OH) to play the Tartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3.
