Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) and the visiting Western Indians (Latham, OH), saw Northwest's basketball squad wallop Western by a tally of 53-18.

With the victory, Northwest improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Rock Hill (Ironton, OH) to confront the Redmen in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 12. The Redmen come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. Rock Hill won 52-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV)

Next up, the Indians confront the Miller Falcons (Corning, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Western will attempt to improve on its 1-20 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 2-18 record after their 64-21 non-league loss to Southern (Racine, OH).
