Ohio High School Basketball - Valley tops Northwest
December 14, 2023: Lucasville, OH 45648 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) and the visiting Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH), saw Valley's basketball squad knock off Northwest by a count of 40-30.
With the victory, Valley upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Western (Latham, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. Western lost 59-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Waverly (Waverly, OH)
Next up, the Mohawks play the Notre Dame Titans (Portsmouth, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 47-31 non-league win over South Webster (South Webster, OH).
