Texas High School Basketball - Marshall thwarts Taft

January 8, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78253

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX) and the host Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), observed Marshall's basketball team knock off Taft by a score of 51-32.

The Rams (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Warren (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors come into the 6A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 19-8 record. In their last challenge, Warren dropped by O'Connor (Helotes, TX), 56-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Taft will attempt to improve on its 9-19 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 15-11 record after their 68-17 league win over Stevens (San Antonio, TX).
