Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge bests Northern Garrett

January 6, 2025: Accident, MD 21520

The Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Northern Garrett Huskies to 38 in the Miners league triumph on Monday.

The Miners now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Southern for a Appalachian Mountain game on Friday, January 10. Mountain Ridge will play a Rams team coming off a 71-43 non-league win over Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Rams record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Northern Garrett falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Red Raiders go into the game with a record of 2-4. Meyersdale won 48-42 in their recent league game against Rockwood (Rockwood, PA)
