Georgia High School Basketball - Seckinger thwarts Walnut Grove
January 9, 2024: Buford, GA 30519 The Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), 73-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Jaguars (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Red Raiders go into the AAAA Region 8 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Madison County notched a victory over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA), 74-67, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host North Oconee for a AAAA Region 8 test on Friday, January 12. Walnut Grove will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 56-44 league win over Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Titans record now stands at 13-3.
