The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) and the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), observed Brevard's basketball team knock off Chase by a score of 67-51.

The Blue Devils (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers come into the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Patton was knocked off by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 56-52, in a league challenge.
