The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC) and the host Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC), observed East Wake's basketball team knock off Hunt by a score of 61-44.

The Warriors (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fike (Wilson, NC). The Demons come into the 3A Quad County challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Fike prevailed over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC), 67-56, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) in a 3A Quad County challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Hunt will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 60-32 league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
