In Tuesday's league test, the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) basketball squad got by the host South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), by a score of 56-54.

Next, the Warriors encounter the West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) in a 3A Quad County test, on Thursday, January 16. Hunt will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 4-9 record after their 81-41 league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
