The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) and the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC), saw Hunt's basketball team beat West Johnston by a tally of 60-47.

The Warriors now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Fike for a 3A Quad County bout on Tuesday, January 21.

With the loss, West Johnston falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats host South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a 3A Quad County outing on Tuesday, January 21.
