In Thursday's non-league test, the Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) basketball squad defeated the host Todd County Central Rebels (Elkton, KY), by a score of 61-48.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 13. Monroe County will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 7-9 record after their 49-47 league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, KY).
