The Todd County Central Rebels basketball squad (Elkton, KY), was outscored 56-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY)

With the victory, Monroe County advances its record to 2-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY) to meet the Hornets in a District 16 battle on Friday, December 20. The Hornets enter the battle with a record of 1-3.

The Rebels now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caldwell County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. Todd County Central will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 66-43 non-league loss to Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
