The Mingus Marauders defeated the visiting Mohave Thunderbirds basketball squad by a final score of 62-43 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Marauders clash with the Bradshaw Mountain Bears (Prescott Valley, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon outing, on Thursday, January 15. Mingus will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record.

The Thunderbirds (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Panthers go into the 4A Grand Canyon game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, Coconino achieved victory over Peoria (Peoria, AZ), 69-33, in a non-league game.
