Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Prescott Badgers (Prescott, AZ), 49-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Mingus advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Marauders travel to Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ) to face the Panthers in a 4A Grand Canyon match on Thursday, January 22. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 14-4. Coconino won 59-29 in their recent league contest against Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ)

In their next game, the Badgers battle the Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon contest, on Friday, January 23. Prescott will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the contest with a 4-13 record after their 81-45 league loss to Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ).
