Arkansas High School Volleyball - Newport crushed by Walnut Ridge
October 9, 2023: Newport, AR 72112 The Walnut Ridge Bobcats topped the host Newport Greyhounds volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's league test.
The Bobcats now have a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piggott for a 3A Northeast test on Tuesday, October 10. Walnut Ridge will confront a Mohawks team coming off a 3-2 league win over Newport (Newport, AR). The Mohawks record now stands at 8-10.
The Greyhounds (6-17) will now prepare for their test against Bald Knob (Bald Knob, AR). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Northeast test with a 0-19 record. In their last test, Bald Knob was knocked off by Cave City (Cave City, AR), 3-0, in a league test.
