Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) and the visiting Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV), observed Sherman's volleyball team top Tolsia by a count of 2-0.

The Tide (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tug Valley (Williamson, WV). The Panthers enter the Freelance contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Tug Valley was knocked off by Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
