Texas High School Volleyball - Turner crushed by Frisco
October 11, 2022: Carrollton, TX 75006 The Frisco Raccoons topped the host Turner Lions volleyball team by a count of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.
The Raccoons now possess a 14-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Creekview for a 5A Region II District 9 game on Friday, October 14.
The Lions (1-18) will now prepare for their game against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines enter the 5A Region II District 9 game with a 24-4 record. In their last game, Wakeland defeated Lone Star (Frisco, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
Match Summary
Turner Varsity got off to a rough start tonight in their match up against Frisco, falling behind 15-0 with the first server. They failed to regroup, falling 3-25 in the first set. In the 2nd set, they came ready to play. They were talking and moving as one unit, really playing as a team, gaining a loss of 16-25. In the final set, they struggled again, losing their voices and their hustle, losing the final set 10-25, for an overall score of 0-3.
