September 30, 2022: Frisco, TX 75034 In Friday's league contest, the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Rangers face the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 contest, on Tuesday, October 4. Lone Star will attempt to better on its 19-8 season record. Match Summary
Turner lost to Lone Star 3-0 with scores of 4-25, 9-25, and 7-25. They worked as a team, hustled, talked, and had some great plays, but just weren't a match for Lone Star's hits. Tonight, Turner displayed the best serve receive they have all season though, with only a handful of missed/shanked balls. Player of the game was Abigail Douglas with with 2 blocks, solid serves, and a beautiful set up off of defense.
