The Grand Island Islanders volleyball squad (Grand Island, NE), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE)

The Patriots (26-6) will now prepare for their contest against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs enter the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Papillion-LaVista was beaten by Millard North (Omaha, NE), 3-1, in a league test.
