Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE) and the visiting Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), observed Bellevue West's volleyball team top Grand Island by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Bellevue West improves its record to 10-21 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Norfolk (Norfolk, NE) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11.
