In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bellevue East Chieftains volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Grand Island Islanders.

The Chieftains (8-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus (Columbus, NE). The Discoverers enter the non-league challenge with a 9-12 record. In their last challenge, Columbus beat Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE), 3-0, in a league challenge.
