The Sandhills Valley Mavericks volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Medicine Valley Raiders to 1 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mavericks now possess a 5-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maxwell for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 14. Sandhills Valley will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 league win over St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-10.
