October 12, 2024: Pittsfield, ME 04967 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) and the visiting Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), saw Maine Central Institute's soccer squad knock off Nokomis by a count of 4-2.
The Huskies (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Waterville (Waterville, ME). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Waterville tipped Lawrence (Fairfield, ME), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME) in a Class B - North battle, on Thursday, October 17. Nokomis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
