In Tuesday's league match, the Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Maize South Mavericks (Wichita, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I match, on Tuesday, October 14.
