Texas High School Football - Montgomery trounces Splendora

October 16, 2025: Montgomery, TX 77356

In Thursday's league match, the host Montgomery Bears football team scored a big 56-19 win over the Splendora Wildcats.

With the win, Montgomery advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bears travel to West Fork (Kingwood, TX) to play the Gators in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 battle on Thursday, October 23. The Gators go into the battle with a record of 4-3. West Fork lost 39-7 in their recent league match against Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX)

Coming up next, the Wildcats meet the Dayton Broncos (Dayton, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 match, on Friday, October 24. Splendora will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Broncos come into the match with a 4-3 record after their 42-41 league loss to Huntsville (Huntsville, TX).
