The Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors volleyball squad (Pierre, SD), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league contest with the host Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD)

The Bucks/Gazelles (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Beresford (Beresford, SD). The Watchdogs enter the non-league battle with a 12-15 record.

The Governors now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huron for a AA District 1 battle on Tuesday, October 21. Pierre T.F. Riggs will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 7-11.
