In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Brandon Valley Lynx volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors.

The Lynx (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Yankton (Yankton, SD). The Bucks/Gazelles come into the AA District 1 test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, Yankton was defeated by Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Governors now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huron for a AA District 1 test on Tuesday, October 7. Pierre T.F. Riggs will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 4-9.
