Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Knights battle the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 match, on Friday, October 20. Fort Bend Elkins will attempt to advance on its 20-13 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 3-24 record after their 3-0 league loss to George Ranch (Richmond, TX).

With the loss, Fort Bend Hightower drops to 16-17 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX) to battle the Rangers in a 6A Region III District 20 match on Friday, October 20. The Rangers come into the match with a record of 14-21.
