In Thursday's league contest, the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Panthers face the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 contest, on Tuesday, October 3. Ridge Point will attempt to better on its 24-13 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 3-21 record after their 3-0 league loss to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX).
