In Friday's non-league contest, the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) volleyball squad nudged the host George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 11. Ridge Point will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Oilers go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Clemens (Schertz, TX).
