Texas High School Volleyball - Fort Bend Austin can't hold off Fort Bend Elkins

In Friday's league battle, the host Fort Bend Elkins Knights volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs.

The Knights (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region III District 20 battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Travis was edged by George Ranch (Richmond, TX), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 battle, on Wednesday, September 6. Fort Bend Austin will attempt to advance on its 16-13 season record. The Rangers come into the battle with a 10-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Clear Falls (League City, TX).
