South Carolina High School Football - Aiken nudged by Midland Valley

In Friday's league game, the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) football team edged the host Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC), by a tally of 39-32.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 outing, on Friday, October 24. Midland Valley will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Thoroughbreds come into the outing with a 4-4 record after their 44-7 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).

With the defeat, Aiken drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Fighting green hornets host Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) to clash with the War Eagles in a AAAA Region 4 outing on Friday, October 24. The War Eagles come into the outing with a record of 6-2. Gray Collegiate Academy won 44-7 in their recent league outing against South Aiken (Aiken, SC)
