The Midland Valley Mustangs football squad scored 63 points and limited the host Airport Eagles to 26 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilbert for a AAAA Region 4 game on Friday, October 10. Midland Valley will face a Indians team coming off a 17-14 league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Indians record now stands at 2-4.

The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles enter the AAAA Region 4 game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Gray Collegiate Academy overwhelmed Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 56-0, in a league game.
