October 18, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21229 Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Archbishop Curley advances its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Friars host McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 7-0. McDonogh won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Phelps (Malvern, PA)
Next up, the Gaels confront the Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) in a MIAA A battle, on Wednesday, October 23. Mount St. Joseph will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
