September 27, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21229 The McDonogh Eagles soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Mount St. Joseph Gaels to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Curley for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. McDonogh will play a Friars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over John Carroll (Bel Air, MD). The Friars record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, Mount St. Joseph moves to 4-6 on the year. The Gaels host Concordia Prep (Towson, MD) to play the Saints in a bout on Wednesday, October 2. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Concordia Prep won 5-2 in their recent league bout against Gilman (Baltimore, MD)
