The Weslaco East Wildcats prevailed the visiting Porter Cowboys volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Saturday's league game.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-20 record. They play next when they travel to Donna North for a 5A Region IV District 32 outing on Tuesday, October 21. Weslaco East will play a Chiefs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pace (Brownsville, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-31.
