In Tuesday's league test, the host Porter Cowboys volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Weslaco East Wildcats.

With the win, Porter improves its record to 10-14 on the season. The Cowboys travel to Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX) to face the Hawks in a 5A Region IV District 32 test on Saturday, September 20. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 4-14. Harlingen South won 3-2 in their recent league test against Donna (Donna, TX)
