October 2, 2024: Leesburg, GA 31763 The Lee County Trojans got by the visiting Veterans Warhawks softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) in a 5A Region 2 challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Warhawks go into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA).
The Warhawks (18-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Trojans go into the 5A Region 2 challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Lee County held off Taylor County (Butler, GA), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
