Georgia High School Softball - Lee County held off by Thomas County Central
September 19, 2024: Thomasville, GA 31792 The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets got by the visiting Lee County Trojans softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA) in a 5A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Thomas County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 11-8 league loss to Veterans (Kathleen, GA).
The Trojans (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 13-10 record. In their last challenge, Marion County held off Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA), 9-1, in a non-league challenge.
