The Sherwood Marksmen edged the visiting Harrisonville Wildcats softball team by a margin of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Marksmen now sport a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheatland for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 7.

With the loss, Harrisonville moves to 2-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Clinton (Clinton, MO) to confront the Cardinals in a Class 3 District 14 battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 3-10.
