The Franklin Lions football squad scored 49 points and restricted the host Lorena Leopards to 35 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host C.H. Yoe for a 3A-1 Region III District 11 battle on Friday, October 28. Franklin will play a Yoemen squad coming off a 47-21 league win over Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Yoemen record now stands at 6-2.
