Texas High School Football - Franklin trounces McGregor

In Friday's league match, the host Franklin Lions football squad scored a big 69-32 victory over the McGregor Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Rockdale Tigers (Rockdale, TX) in a 3A-1 Region III District 11 match, on Friday, September 30. Franklin will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 22-21 non-league loss to Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX).

The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Troy (Troy, TX). The Trojans enter the 3A-1 Region III District 11 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Troy was crushed by Early (Early, TX), 26-0, in a non-league match.
