Arizona High School Volleyball - Cortez over Yuma
October 28, 2024: Phoenix, AZ 85051 Fans at Monday's league contest between the Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ), observed Cortez's volleyball team top Yuma by a count of 3-0.
The Colts (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Demons enter the 4A - Black Canyon contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, Dysart notched a victory over Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Criminals battle the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A - Black Canyon contest, on Wednesday, October 30. Yuma will attempt to move on its 0-18 season record. The Buffaloes enter the contest with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Desert Sunrise (Maricopa, AZ).
